I was asked to teach the FHE lesson for the military branch. As I was searching for some ideas of what to do with a bunch of guys in the military I found a pinterest idea that someone turned into a legitimate game. I figured I could make a game similar to it, but my own style and my own theme. I decided to do NAS Pensacola themed Clue. For the places I did the Galley, Port Side Movie Theater, Gym, Barracks, Beach, NEX, Food Court, and the Classroom. The tools were pass along card, testimony, service, conversation, phone, and note. For the suspects, we used each other. The object of the game was to figure out why an investigator/inactive member showed up to church. For example, it was the Busby’s at the NEX with a conversation. Another would be the Busby’s at the beach with service. It was fun, but no one figured it out. It was probably because there were a lot of guys, 9. Some got close and if we ever do anything like it again I’ll bring two boards and sets of cards and split the group. If you want to see the game board the link is above.
